what is the difference in the ionic adidas and the regular ionic- looking to replace an old charge HR and have 40% discount  I like the look of the adidas one

There are not a lot of differences but if you like the look of it then that in itself is a good reason to go fir it. Fitbit say:

 

"The Ionic: adidas edition watch includes a unique adidas coaching experience, a signature band, an exclusive clock face, and more."
