We have a very active dog who loves to run through the woods when we go on hikes. I am very curious to see how far she goes. There are several trackers out there that cost a fortune for this single task. But I just upgraded from my Ionic to a Sense and it occurred to me, that perhaps I could use the GPS tracking feature of the Ionic to see how far she runs. I have tried twice to start a hike on the watch when we head off, but both times it crashes after just a few minutes. It has plenty of charge and to wake it up I need to plug it in, which clears the problem. Any thoughts on how I might do this?

Curious, @remydog30, did you create a new Fitbit account for your dog and add the Ionic to it so that it will record her activity?
Best AnswerI have Whistle tracker. After using it for 2 weeks, I found out it has become a must to me. We live in a mountain pasture in the western countryside of Colorado. Without a GPS tracker, I would not dare to let my dog out and play alone, otherwise it would be almost impossible for me to find a fast-moving dog here. I suggest that you read this whistle dog tracker review. After I confirmed that Whistle was able to provide me with its location in time, I finally let it go and play freely. I can always see where it is and keep it safe. It reduces my anxiety.
