Hello @Leeeeka thank you for bringing this to my attention, it's a pleasure for me to assist you with the situation experienced with your Ionic device. It's nice to see you again participating in the Community Forums.

Seems odd that you're experiencing the same situation with your replacement Fitbit Ionic, certainly this is not a common situation. Our Ionic device was designed to last 5 days but the battery life also depends on how frequently you use its features. That said, I recommend you charging your Fitbit with a USB port from a computer or a UL-certified outlet into the wall, then turn off all the features that you don’t use that much, and check this help article for more tips and recommendations.

Also, I recommend you to try restarting your device to refresh its performance.

Keep me posted, I'll be around if you need anything else.

Mine is similar. It’s 20 months old and battery is now down to Lasting under 3 days with no messages, no GPS and no sports tracking.  Can anyone help?

Same with mine -- it's 21 months old, yesterday battery was at 92%, and overnight it was completely dead.  Also not getting messages or notifications when my phone rings

Are you having any luck with Fitbit support. It is 6 days since my case was
referred to technical support and I have yet to hear from them.

Hello again, it's a pleasure to continue providing assistance with the battery life of your Ionic devices, pardon me for the delay in responding. Welcome to the Community Forums for both of you @JHLondon @kbrenneis.

@JHLondon I'm sorry to know that you're experiencing such difficulties with your Ionic device, thanks for letting me know that our Support team was already contacted. That said, I'd like to share with you that they informed me that assistance was already provided regarding your concern, therefore, I recommend you to contact them back if you have any additional questions about your case outcome. I'll be here if you need anything else.

@kbrenneis Thank you for bringing this to my attention. To better assist you, can you please clarify if your battery isn't charging anymore or holding charge? Either way, you can check: Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging? which have information for both issues. Regarding notifications, can you please let me know which mobile device you're currently using to sync your Fitbit? If you haven't already done so, please check this help article to verify that all the settings to receive notifications are correctly configured. If such is the case, you can move forward and try the steps that are specified on: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone.

I'll be around guys, keep me posted.

Since my issue last week where the ionic lost all its charge in one day, I haven't had any problems.  I deleted Strava and Starbucks because I do not use them.  So, thus far, it seems to have been an isolated incident and am hoping for the best as I begin a half marathon training program.  I still do not get notifications when the phone rings or texts, so i will check that article again, but that is less of a big deal to me than losing charge.  Also, just a question -- I thought I was not able to swim with the Ionic -- is this not true?  I swim in a lake, usually right after running.

Thanks for your reply and update @kbrenneis, it's a pleasure to continue assisting you. Sorry for the delay in responding your post.

I appreciate the details that were shared in post, certainly the battery situation you're currently experiencing is not the way we designed our device to perform. That said, please review our help article: Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life? to prioritize battery life because our Ionic battery was designed to last up to 5 days, however, battery life can be affected by several factors.

Regarding the notifications concern, can you please let me know which mobile device you're currently using? I recommend you to make sure that your mobile device is compatible with our products and services because a compatibility concern can cause connection difficulties.

Let me share with you that our Fitbit Ionic was designed to be swim proof up to 50 meter, therefore, you can use it to track your swim sessions in a lake, open water or in a pool. You can learn more about this here

Let me know if you have any additional questions.
