I bought my Ionic after Christmas and was initially delighted with the product which had a similar battery life to the Blaze I had previously however now I’m struggling to get 12 hours on a single charge meaning it’s worse than useless as a fitness tracker. Tried different watch faces, factory resets and all the usual suggestions but no improvement. Having to revert to my Blaze but that’s a step backwards. Always been put off Apple watches because of their low battery life but might as well try a new device if Fitbit have reached the limit of their smart watch capabilities.

Hi, for 2 days, my Ionic is loosing battery power in about 10 hours or so. I didn't change anything before it happened, I read previous comments and I checked help articles, nothing worked so far.
Please advice, thanks.

Yup - very well known problem which is not being ignored by FitBit - rather they are capitalizing on it by offering people 30% of new purchases.
There is a growing body of evidence based on their lack of resolution and preferred response that this is possible a deliberate action following Apples recent court case loss for deliberately slowing down their old phones and draining batteries to force people to purchase new models.
Highly illegal in Australia with consumer protection laws and Europe - will be sending report to EU commissioner who deals with this.
Its a known issue and at the absolute very LEAST needs to have a product recall to be fixed and or replacement offered.
No way this is legal in many countries - probably ok in USA but not others with consumer protection laws.
