Hello,
I have had my Ionic for almost 2 years at this point and I recently started having some issues with it. I have always had 3-5 days worth of charge from a 100% battery, up until a couple days ago. I went for about an hour run with the GPS enabled and started at about 30% battery, I figured it would be fine as this normally drains about 10-15% of the battery. The Ionic died before I could finish my run, I thought it was odd but it has done odd things before. I charged it and went to bed that night wearing it, I use the silent alarms to wake up. I did not wake up when I was planning as it had died in the night. After fully charging it again, and actually paying attention to the battery %, I can see I am now only getting 5 hours of use out of a full charge.
I understand the nature of batteries and how you will slowly lose the capacity over time so I always made sure it was dry before charging/charging on a computer etc. I felt like this was a drastic drop in a short amount of time. I have a Fitbit Blaze that a gave to another friend that is even older than the Ionic and its battery still lasts days which was even more confusing to me. I just really hope there is some other issue happening here and not that I have to go and spend more money on another Ionic.
I have powered it on and off, reset it, turned off all-day-sync, and factory reset it, all of which has not helped. Hope there is some silly thing I am missing that might be causing this.

Hello @pretzelman thanks for bringing this to my attention, I'm glad to give you a hand with this battery situation and a warm welcome to our Community Forums.
Seems odd that the battery life of your Ionic device is not lasting the way we designed, this specific model was designed to last 5 days, thanks for troubleshooting this situation prior posting. If you haven't already done so and because you already turned off all-day-sync to prioritize your Ionic battery life, I recommend you to check our help article: Can I improve my Fitbit device's battery life? and let me know how the battery of your device behaves in the next days.
I'll be here if you need anything else. In the meantime, let me know if you have any additional questions.

Thanks, I have actually already begun attempting to troubleshoot it and test the battery through support. Also, I was actually looking at the purchase date and I was mistaken, I have not had the Ionic for 2 years but it has only been about 1 year and 3 months. Hopefully all goes well.
