Ionic blank screen issue

My Ionic had a blank screen. I held the 3 buttons and released the button one first and it restarted. First time this happened. I saw others have had the same problem and only had the fitbit dots. Fortunately my reset. Bob

@Rspolski Welcome to our Fitbit Community. Regarding the blank screen issue that your Fitbit Ionic has experienced, I appreciate the time spent trying to get it resolved before contacting our forums.

I would like to know if your Fitbit device vibrates when you put it on the charger. In the meantime, try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. After this, charge it for 2-3 hours and see if it works properly.

I don't recall that my Fitbit Ionic vibrates when charging. It used to vibrate when I got an email but it doesn't do it now. RegardsBobSent from Samsung Galaxy smartphone.

My screen went black too and has drained from 100% battery this morning to 22% now.

Reset it using the buttons and got the screen back of sorts but looks like this now. 

Come onto the forum to see what the craic is  and what I need to do next (asides from charge it again!)

@SunsetRunner it's a common issue after the latest firmware update.  There is no fix and, as Fitbit don't sell parts or offer a repair service, there is no cure yet.
