My fitbit ionic hasn't been chargin as of last night. Either no indicator comes up that it is charging or if it does then the battery level stays the same. Ever since I started using the ionic sometimes I would have to plug and unplug the metal connector from the fitbit. I usually wall charge it as well. Do you guys think its the charger or do I need a replacement unit?

Have you checked the contacts on the Ionic to make sure that they are clean? Otherwise, the charger won't connect to the device. It's simple: just take a toothpick and turn your watch over. On the back of the watch, you will see 3 yellow dots. Using the toothpick, remove any debris around the dots. Those dots are your contacts and are used to charge the device. When they are clean, the color should start turning to a bright yellow.

Also try using a working usb port on your computer.
Just in case, restart the ionic by keeping the left and bottom right buttons at the same time, until the fitbit logo appears.

I purchased ionic yesterday. I am trying to charge the battery for the first time. Although the magnet works, the fitbit doesnot vibrate nor shows any thing. I want to know whether my charging end is not properly set? Is there any protective sticker on top of the black square behind the ionic showing charging point and other three sensors apart from the packing strip which I removed already?
thanks for any help on this score
