Having issues with fitbit ionic, so did the factory 3 button reset which turned off Fitbit. But now it will not turn on. I’ve had it plugged into charger and tried the two button restart and nothing. Is this ionic dead now?

@RanIonic I am moving your post to the Ionic forum. Your issue will get more attention there.

I suggest you read this previous post. It is an "eye opening" situation.

Hey, my condolences to you as it is most likely dead. There are hundreds if not into the thousands on here now (increasing daily) with the same issue and most seem to be in the 13 – 18 month age range. I hope yours is still under warranty! Definitely open a case with support and go through the steps there are some that come back to life by cleaning the contacts or some other stroke of luck. Sounds like it has happened.
If you are out of warranty you will probably get the opportunity to buy another one of them for a very nice 40% off or 25% off another model with a very reassuring "better luck next time"! They will definitely not confirm that anything has changed or improved and a great many replacements seem to follow suit so I'm thinking they are enjoying this manufactured feature. They will tell you to "rest assured we are always striving to improve our products" oh and "rest assured your complaints and feedback will not fall on deaf ears". Truly a company with no integrity or morals.
I would like to suggest to all reading this thread, if you purchased your Ionic (or whichever one just dies on you) with a credit card. Check with them as you may have extended warranty through them automatically. Someone on anther post said their Amex covered it for them so I phoned my Mastercard issuer and I had the same thing and did not even know it. I have put a claim in 2 days ago so have not heard back yet but at least there is a glimmer of hope. More than you will get through Fitbit!
I will update in here somewhere once I hear from the Mastercard insurance company.
Ps. I would like to thank the woman that stated her Amex covered the dead fitbit if you are reading this! I tried to find your post again but either they removed it is as it might be useful to someone or there are jus soooo many posts about this I can’t seem to find it again. Anyway thanks very much!
Good luck with yours hope it works out!
