Can you stop the ionic counting steps while you are driving/in a car?
I seen others with this issue but didn't see any actual solution, is there one?

You cant stop it counting them but you can remove the false steps afterwards by logging a driving activity for the time you were driving. There is also an app called Drivebit available to help with this, but I have mever used it so know nothing about it. But might be be worth looking into.
DRIVING ACTIVITY
To log a driving activity go to your app, tap the exercise tile (running man), then the stopwatch icon in the top right corner. On the screen that comes up start to type in Driving and when the list drops down SELECT DRIVING from the list (very importand not to type in the whole word). Fill in the details and Log it.
