Have had my Ionic since Christmas and has functioned perfectly fine until now. However, yesterday the Ionic would no longer sync - just comes up with "looking". Used all the troubleshooters to no avail and in the end opted for a factory reset which didn't work initially (last night). This morning I managed to pair the device to the app and installed the required updates - however after recording some steps etc syncing is still not working.
Can anybody help or experienced similar problems?

A warm welcome to the Community @Leon_87! I appreciate the troubleshoot that you've tried. There were some issues affecting syncing and logging but it's been resolved already.
I would like you to confirm you've tried the steps mentioned on this article Why won't my Fitbit device sync?. If you're receiving any error message that's not letting you sync, please provide me with a screenshot.
Keep me posted!

Thanks Silvia,
Managed to get it to sync this morning but wasn't remaining paired with the phone for constant syncing & notifications etc but this afternoon it seems to be back to normal.
Hopefully was just a glitch for a few days - but literally tried everything possible and the Ionic still wouldn't be found,

Leon and everyone who is having syncing issues with the iPhones. Here is a fast an easy way to do re-sync.
1. Close the Fitbit app on your iPhone and go to "Settings" on your iPhone and remove Fitbit Ionic from the list of connected devices
2. Turn Bluetooth 'off' then 'on'
3. Turn off your iPhone (not restart, all the way off)
4. Turn off/on your Fitbit Ionic press and holding the left hand button with the bottom button on the right side simultaneously
5. Then turn on your iPhone and launch the Fitbit app. It should sync and you'll be off and running!

Many thanks for your response,
Yes this worked for me the first time I tried it and my phone stayed paired for a while with notifications working - but dropped back out again after 2/3hours. Since then have done this around 10/15 times without sync. Are there any other tips or work arounds? Really shouldn’t have to go to these lengths just to get the device to sync and if the ionic doesn’t stay paired a lot of its functions are affected.

Thanks for sharing that tip @Shipyrd18!
Hey there @Leon_87! I'm sorry to hear that it stopped working for you again. I've shared your post with our Support team and they've mentioned you already have a case with them. I would recommend to continue the conversation via email so they can provide you with a solution based on the Fitbit Warranty.
Hope this helps!
