Ionic died after reset

Ionic would not sync. Reset and now won't turn on, tried everything. Had full battery when reset. Was replaced last January under warranty. Now they want to give me 30% off a new device. Why would I buy another Fitbit if they only last 1 year. Very disappointed because I was happy with their service before they were purchased. Customer since Fitbit One in 2012. Currently own 2 other Fitbits, Ionic and Sense which will be my last.
