The issue with my Ionic started several weeks ago. It was just displaying the Fitbit logo. I left it on to charge, but nothing changed. I tried to perform the reset procedure, but that didn't change anything. I left it unplugged as I was going away on vacation. When I returned, the battery was dead of course. I plugged it in this morning and got the Fitbit logo again. I checked on it several hours later and the display is blank. It is unresponsive. I have tried to perform the factory reset procedure, but it still does not respond.

I had tried these procedures before submitting my post. I tried cleaning the contacts and tried various USB ports, both on the computer and via a AC wall adapter. I have left the watch plugged in over night and the display is still blank. The reason I had initially stopped using the watch was because it was stuck on the Fitbit logo.

The option I was given was a 25% discount on a new Fitbit. After being a loyal customer for many years, starting with the Flex, then Charge, then Alta and finally the Ionic... and I even bought the headphones to pair with the Ionic... I find it difficult to spend any more of my hard earned money on another device if the company isn't going to stand behind their products. I had issues with the Charge battery not lasting and I was given the option of a discount off another Charge or the Alta for free. I opted for the Alta. Now for the Ionic battery to only last 14 months and then be given the 30 days to make use of a measly 25% discount on another product that may only last another year, it just doesn't make sense to me.
