Ionic displaying Fitbit logo only

Used my watch to track a run today. Tried to sync it and it updated my steps but didn’t register the activity and said Failed to sync.

I disconnected the device from the IPhone app and then couldn’t reconnect  it.

I then switched the watch off and now it’s stuck on the Fitbit logo flashing.

Ive tried the factory reset as mentioned on other posts and that hasn’t worked.

Any ideas would be much appreciated!

Hi @Jop1610, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before posting over here. To make sure that you tried the correct factory reset process, please check the following steps so we can move on:

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. When the device successfully resets, please use the normal out of the box process of updating the firmware. You can check: How do I update my Fitbit device? for more details.

I'll be waiting for your reply.

Good morning,

I encounter the same issue this Sunday.

I did  as you mentionned in your reply.
How ever, after the  vibration, I let go of the  last buttons but didn’t get any logo.

Now the screen is blank and won’t react.
I plugged it in to make sure it was propre l’y charged. Still nothing.
what should I do?
