Ionic doesn't charge

I have had issues with it not wanting to charge if run completely dead since I bought it but have always had luck getting it to start eventually.  Now it won't start charging at all.  I have tried holding the home and bottom buttons for 15 seconds.  Nothing.  I have tried multiple chargers and the screen does not light up to show its charging.

Same for me, only had it 4 days, and it will not charge

I don't want to seem ungrateful, but as most people would, I read posts first and attempted all the different ways of getting it going again, nothing seems to work, so telling to check the ports for dirt on a 4 day old watch, or other such obvious ideas, really is no help, Customer support for me, or just return it, disappointed

Really disappointed with fitbit, never buying or recommending them again. First ever swim with it and now it no longer charges. Tried all the suggestions. Fitbit will not replace it, very unhappy with them. They advertise the ionic as a water resistant smart watch. This is a lie, they are not water resistant. Do not buy one they are simply not fit for purpose.

I was able to get it to charge.  I have a aerosol can of electrical connection contact cleaner at home.  Sprayed and wiped but the cable and watch and it took off.
