Hi, My Ionic just died, last night.
Watched all videos, red all tips, pressed all buttons, in many ways, for many times, with or without the charger connected, but nothing happened.
I live in São Paulo , Brasil and I think there's no FitBit official office around.
What can I do?
Best

It happened to me just now. I had the same issue at the beginning of the year. It is software related (NOT recognized by Fitbit) and unfortunately there is very little to do. You can always try the factory reset via 3-button push (all at the same time), or keep it in the charger cable overnight.
I am lucky enough to have an extended warranty that covered the problem. Techs had to remove and replace motherboard, battery and sensors to make it work again. I already submitted a claim, for a third time, for the same issue: software. I wish you luck in your endeavors.

UPDATE: Fitbit's customer service recognise that is under warranty, but they can't send it to my country (Brasil). The saddest thing is, I backed it on Kickstart when Pebble was bought by FitBit and they canceled the project (and fully returned my money).
But I had to wait more than 2 years to finally have my smartwatch….
And now this...Really a sad situation.

Community, hello again...
I received notification from the extended warranty technicians. Fitbit Ionic is beyond repair, that was the diagnostics received from them.
So, the latest software update caused a critical or catastrophic error, that not even the technicians could repair. The insurance company said that they are sending a refund via mail.
So, if you are planning to buy one (or anything close to it) get the extended warranty. You might think it is not good to have one, but in this case, it was worth it..
So, pass it along. If your Fitbit Ionic had this issue, there is a good probability that it has become a paperweight...
