Ionic double counting exercise from MFP?

I notice that when I select the walk exercise on the watch and complete it, the walk and associated map show up in my feed. However, shortly thereafter a second activity shows up as walking,3.0 mph...(MyFitnessPal). There are minor differences in the data between the two, but I can't figure out why both show up.

Mine does the same. It's because I have strava set up to sync with both fitbit and MFP, do you have Strava linked to the two? 

 

The good news is that fitbit is clever enough to not double count these. As long as the start times and durations match, the system will work it out.
