Ionic duplicating treadmill data with a run

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Since I started going back to the gym last week and using the treadmill again, I'm now getting a duplicate run activity (which shows almost similar data to the treadmill activity except less calories and includes my pace per km). I set my activity off as a treadmill activity and have the auto recognition feature for running turned off. I never previously had this issue prior to having to stop going to the gym due to lockdown. Has anyone got any idea why it is suddenly doing this or how I can stop it as its quite irritating as its skewing data for a couple of apps which use my Fitbit data?

@SunsetRunner Welcome back to the Fitbit Community. Thanks for getting in touch about this.

I see where your disappointment is coming from, I'll be happy to help you sort this out.

It's pretty weird that's duplicating the activities showing on your app but one it's showing your pace per km. I would like you to confirm that you're starting the Treadmill activity from the exercise app on your Ionic.

Also you mentioned you turned off auto-recognition in your watch. Please confirm you followed this procedure to turn it off:

- Go to your Fitbit app
- Tap on Account
- Choose Exercise
- Tap on the activities that you want to remove from auto recognition
- Sync your watch to update its settings

If this has happened again please attach a screenshot of the duplicate activities.

I'll be around if you have any additional questions.
