Has anyone else had multiple issues? I purchased an Ionic a few years back and every year I’ve had issues resulting in needing to get a new device, which is highly frustrating. It’s to the point now where I don’t even use the device to its full potential because I am afraid it will break. I don’t wear it swimming, I don’t wear it in the shower and I don’t normally wear it on really hot days where I know I’ll be in the sun, such as the beach. The latest issue was last night, my heart rate monitor has been acting funny and not really reading well. So, last night after my workout I felt a really hot almost stinging sensation and looked down. My heart rate monitor light went from green to red and then my whole Fitbit just shut down. I’ve tried cleaning the contacts, resetting, contacted customer service, the whole nine. I am at the point where since I am past warranty the only thing that I am eligible for is 25% discount on another device. Any recommendations or anyone else have this issue? I really can’t afford purchasing another device.

Welcome to the Community @LJC1234. Thanks for the troubleshooting tried and the details mentioned.
I appreciate the time you took to share your experience in the Forums. It is particularly difficult when the device is no longer covered by the warranty, but even tough Support is eager to help with any problem you may experience with the product, they do need to adhere to the official warranty policy, this would start counting from the original date of purchase.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding the quality of Fitbit devices, these comments are always useful to continue improving.
I'll be around if you need further assistance.
