Ionic fitbit screen is blank

Hi,

 

I have a brand new Ionic fitbit, took it out of the box, plugged it in and nothing appears on the screen, ever, no matter how long it charges.

 

I have let it recharge overnight and tried resetting it and nothing - it vibrates for a second and shows nothing.

 

My iphone can pair with it (it detects the phone) but nothing shows up on the screen.

 

Anything I have missed?

Welcome to the Community @Greggot. Thanks for the details mentioned and the troubleshooting tried before contacting us. 

It's pretty weird that the display isn't turning on but it is connecting to your phone. I would like you to confirm that you've restarted it and fully charge it by following the steps in these articles: How do I restart my Fitbit device? and How do I charge my Fitbit device?. 

If you're able to get your Ionic working, please follow this set up procedure.
