Ionic got hot

I purchased new and began using this ionic on 4-25-18. So a year and 3 months ago.  Today, I noticed it kept vibrating my arm every couple seconds with "no new information" or going to an activity tracker,  or messages or emails. It would not go back to the clock display.  I was pushing buttons, but nothing was working.  I looked at it some hours later from this situation and  it was working fine displaying the time, so I thought maybe it was updating or something earlier.  Then,  I went to check the time and noticed it was really extra hot to the touch and the screen went black and will not respond to anything.  Not even acknowledging the charger. I remember before all this I swear it was at 70% battery life.  Is there anything I can do?  I feel it just died.  If so , a year and 3 months that I've had it was not worth the $300 spent.

Hi @Leemoeller,

It sounds like you need to get in touch with Support right away, especially considering that the Fitbit is getting hot.  You can contact them via the link at the bottom of the page, but to help expedite the process, I am flagging your post right now for moderator attention.  Either way, someone should be in touch with you soon.

@DramaQueenDiva I do not see a "support " link or phone number to call.  Reading the warranty, it sounds like they only warranty 1 year in the USA, but 2 years in Europe!  So im probably out of luck.

Hi @Leemoeller, you can contact Support here.  You might want to try starting a Live Chat with them, it looks like someone is on the online chat.
