Ionic seems to have been slowly dying and now appears to be completely shut down. In the last week, the screen would not respond to swipes, so reset it to a Fitbit clockface. That enabled checking step tracking, and heart rate from the watch. The phone app continued to work. I have read through many posts and have tried shutting it down, restarting and tried to do a factory reset. Today it stopped synching to the phone app and flashed the Fitbit logo for about 5 hours. It now appears frozed on the logo screen and won't turn off. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Best AnswerHi @yazs1mom.
As you say it's frozen on the fitbit logo and doesn't respond to the hardware restart procedure. I think the only thing you can really do is wait for the battery to die and then try to charge it up again to see if that revives it.
Best AnswerThank you for the response. I was able to get a screen back and set it up again. When it goes through the installation process the screen is bright, once the install is completed, the screen is dim. It still does not scroll through the screens or respond to taps. When I press the top right button, it goes to notifications and/or exercise however won't scroll so I can what they are. Not sure what to do at this point.
