What phone are you using?  If it's an iPhone, go to SETTINGS - NOTIFICATIONS - MESSAGING; make sure that at least the 'Notification Center' tab is checked.  You don't need the 'Lock Screen' or Banners' to be on, BUT Notification Center must be checked to get the push texts from phone to FitBit............

Hi, I have exactly the same problem. I follow all the steps to turn on notifications on the fitbit app, but in no where does it tell me I have an option to receive notifications for calls or texts....
