Ionic is restarting random

Hi all,

Today my Ionic restarted 6 times randomly?! (EDIT 7 TIMES)

Firmware 27.30.5.8 (Develop)

I haven't changed a thing...

Syncing issues still contains, it's a disaster (Android 7).

My Blaze, that I unfortunately sold, I haven't had 1 single issue...

Many people have syncing issues, still no fix...

Always loved FitBit (had the Charge HR and Blaze) but Ionic is disappointing... 😞

That been said..., anyone have the same problem with randomly restart??

Hi @Cyldor I'm so sorry you are frustrated. I too have had issues with the random restart. Try restarting it 3 times a row to see if that corrects it.

Restart the Ionic:

• Press and hold the back (left) and right bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
• Let go of the buttons

That fixed the issue for me, so hoping it works for you as well.

Also had this problem.  And this is 113017.  Restarted twice yesterday I think and once today.

Mine restarted twice today within the last couple hours. Does it have anything to do with an update attempt? I see a notice for an update but it hasn't started yet.

I fixed this by executing the update from my phone rather than my computer. I did have to remove the device from my computer and re-add it in order for sync to work again. I also tried changing clocks but it was fixed when I re-added it.
