Ionic issues - Notifications and Issues after swimming

Hi I have issues with my Ionic not sending me any notifications for calls / email etc .. its basically functioning as a step counter only. Also last week it failed after One small Swim... im trying to train for a Tri and it was out of use for about a week !

I had similar issue a month ago.  Ionic after an hour in the pool started swiping to diff screens randomly, restarting, then was dead for a day.  Customer support was little help.  It started working a few days later, then yesterday stopped charging and will not restart now.  

 

Disappointed a water resistant watch rated for 50m has an issue with less than 2m of water.  Good luck.

I went for a swim today and my fitbit  has frozen with the fitbit symbol on the screen.
