My ionic which I’ve only had 3 months, now suddenly won’t stay on. It turns itself off and when I turn it back on it continues from the time it turned off at and won’t have registered any movement in the time it’s been off.
I’ve tried restart, actual shut down, turning off the wifi and Bluetooth and back on again, removing device and setting up all over again, and my last resort was a factory reset. Nothing has worked and now it won’t even stay on long enough to set up. It turns itself straight off again. And yes it is charged. I haven’t had a single issue until now.
Now I don’t know what to do, do I need to somehow send it back to Fitbit?
Thanks.

Yes I would think that if the Ionic is truly off it will not be counting steps?
Have you tried setting it up while in its charger .
Side note, the WiFi will only be turned on while the ionic is charging, and the bluetooth on the ionic for syncing can not be turned off.
Removing the device from your Fitbit account is never recommended. At best it won't help, at worst case as you found out. it will add multiple more problems .
You might want to get in touch with support, but since the tracker was removed they probably will not be able to analyze it through the backend .

This is very disappointing. I have been experiencing the exact same thing and I've tried everything.

Any suggestions? Mine is doing the same thing today. It did on our vacation but I manually restarted it and it was fine. I am frustrated.
