Ionic losing time

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Ionic battery drained to zero from full in about an hour or so last week. I recharged it over night. Now it loses time. Over a 5 hour period it can lose 6 - 7 minutes. It will sync and the time resets to correct time.

I can no longer trust my Ionic to tell the correct time.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Benalmon.

Thanks for the details shared in your post and for already trying to resolve the issue. I understand how you are feeling and recommend checking if you have turned on "Set automatically" for date and time on your phone: open your phone's settings > tap General > tap Date & Time > and then toggle "Set Automatically" on.

You can find our tips to maximize your Fitbit device's battery life in Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?

Hope this helps.

Thank you for your reply, @Benalmon.

I am sorry to hear the issue persists, thank you for your efforts. I recommend restarting your watch by following the steps from this help article: How do I restart my Fitbit device? After that please manually sync your watch and check if the issue persists. You can confirm the steps to manually sync your watch in How do I manually sync my tracker or watch?

Hope this gets you back on track.
