Ionic no longer syncing with Strava

My Ionic was syncing runs to my Strava account from day one of owning it until 3 days ago.  Nothing has changed but the runs no longer showing up in my Strava. 

Any ideas?   I reset the watch today and the run still did not show up.

Double check that Strava and Fitbit are connected to each other.  Strava revamped their website a few days ago and perhaps your settings were reset

i found that the strava app in the fitbit app needed updating then it started syncing with strava again.click on the setting cog symbol next to strava if i remember correctly then update the app.i also had to re authorize strava again in the fitbit app so it would sync with strava again after updating strava.

how do you undate.. clicking onthe cog only requests an authorize on mine and I cannot get it to authorize.. it gives me an anonymous email message and won't authorize.. please help

I just got the Ionic and I've tried authorizing/ unauthorizing Strava multiple times but it won't sync my runs to Strava. It should be the most updated version as far as I can tell. Any other ideas?

My ionic is having strava sync issue in last few days, I did re-authorization on both fitbit and strava, also checked the strava app on my ionic is the latest version, still not working 😞

I wish, I wish, I wish I had never bought the Ionic.  Now, instead of exercise I spend my free time online trying to find out why it doesn't do what it says in the glossy literature that fitbit never backs up with actual support.  

I was connected happily to Strava then I had an accident, sprained my ankle and have only just restarted exercise after 2 months, and of course, no feedback to Strava from Ionic.  I've read this thread and others, and nothing applies.  Both apps think they are connected, fitbit knows I have just run, but Strava doesn't.  There is no option to update the app in the settings.  So 2 hours on, I still don't have a handshake between the 2 apps

Fitbit has the clumsiest un-self-evident interface of anything out there and add to that the limited apps with even more limited explanation of how to use them and it so far has only performed 3 times for me.  If Apple watch had been available on my network I would have paid the extra for it.  Now i wish I'd bought it anyway and used it without a carrier

I have also been hit by this problem a couple of times, but the good thing is that you can manually sync with strava using a PC:

- Have a look at your run, click on the three dots at the top, and select "export as TCX file"

- In strava: click on plus symbol at top right and select "upload activity"

I know it is quite annoying and the automatic syncing really should be working, but at least your run is not lost.

This happened to my last week: started exercise app, selected run, GPS lock obtained, all statistics (e.g. pace) during my run in the exercise app, but it does not show up as a run on the dashboard....

You can't do anything manually. And I agree with you that I wish I never bought an Ionic.

thanks so much, this worked and I can now upload my activities manually.  It's actually fairly quick. I still hope to have the automatic connection going one day.

I have had an issue getting Strava details going back to the watch. I uninstalled and re installed the Strava app and re authorised and logged in on the phone. The watch however is now saying "Go to Strava settings on your fitbit mobile app to log in" I have sync'd and restarted both the watch and the phone.
