Ionic not Syncing with Samsung Phone

I just got a new Ionic because my old one would not sync. This new one installed all the updates at night and was working perfectly the next day. It only would sync for 3 hours. After I walked away from my Samsung J1 phone for 1 minute, it would not re-connect. I need to get a new watch face because the free trial on my old one expired, and it will not connect to do that. I also need all my texts and phone calls to go to my watch. I have made sure I have the latest update. I have also re-started the phone and Fitbit and still am having problems.

Sorry to see that it didn't work. I'd like to mention that Samsung Galaxy J1 is not in the list of Compatible Devices. You can continue using this device, but keep in mind that not all features will work as is expected.

 

To set up, sync, receive notifications, and take advantage of other features of your Fitbit device, you must install the Fitbit app on a compatible phone or tablet. The Fitbit app is compatible with more than 200 Apple, Android, and Windows 10 phones and tablets. We're continually adding more devices and improving our compatibility, so if you don't see your device on the list check back soon.

 

Alternatively, you can use the Fitbit app for Windows 10 on your computer, or use Fitbit Connect to sync with a Mac or Windows 8.1 computer to access your data and take advantage of the many features of your Fitbit device.

 

We can try a couple of steps to sync and connect notifications but it might be that sometimes your will have to troubleshoot your phone to make it connect.

I have got the some problem with mine. I ever reset my ionic as Fitbit live chat person advised but still no syncing. and I have to setup again and again. Now when I tried to set up it shows big red X. not sure what to do.
