Ionic not connecting to oneplus 6

Since igot my new oneplus 6 july 23rd ionic has not been connected . Done absolutely everything. uninstalled fitbit app, restarted phone, restarted ionic, turned bluetooth off & on.  Etc etc.. All fixes to get it connected & synced.. It says 'found it' with green tick but wont connect at all.. Sick of retrying all the steps over & over... I read the op6 is not compatible!.. It has latest os update etc... Is this the case? Thanks.

I can't find your phone on the Fitbit list of Approved Devices.  But you should take a look for yourself.
