Ionic not counting steps

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My ionic seems to have stopped recognising my steps.  I used to average over 18,000 steps per day and I'm hardly totally 1,500 per day.

Any help would be much appreciated

Welcome to the Forums @Miss80.

Thanks for sharing those details on the reduced step count that you are getting. I'd like to take a closer look at what is going on.

I will be moving this thread the the Ionic board as I think it is better suited for it.

I'd like to ask some questions to better understand what is going on:

  • When did this start happening?
  • Have you changed the way or place you wear your Fitbit?
  • Are you usually holding something? That could lead to the Fitbit not counting steps.

In the meantime I'd recommend that you try restarting your Fitbit. That should help so that it starts working and syncing correctly.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
