My Ionic died and I had it on the charger for over an hour and it still at 0%. This is the 3rd Fitbit that I have had in the last year. What gives? Is anyone else having an issue with their Fitbit's not holding a charge after a few months? I had the Inspire HR originally Fitbit replaced after 3 months then the 2nd one had the same issue. They offered me the chance upgrade at a discount when the 2nd one broke so I upgraded to an Ionic and now I am having the same issue. The screen works while it is plugged in but it just will not charge.

If you can get into the settings. Try shutting it down and leave to charge for 2 or 3+ hours. The device may be drawing too much power from the charger.
Also, try anothger charger - preferably one that is fast charge compliant (QC3.0) as these chargers output higher charging current at the same 5 volts. A higher charging current may help the battery to charge.
Failing this, just try a few other chargers.
Unfortunately it doesn't appear the batteries are engineered for longevity in these devices.

If it's in warranty then Fitbit will replace it after they take you through their standard troubleshooting steps.
I'd probably use the warranty, as clearly somethig is not right. You don't want it to fail again just out of warranty.
Just re-read your original post. Looks like your warranty must be nearly up, as warranty doesn't reset on each new device unfortunately. Still in warranty - get it replaced.
