Since upgrading to the IPhone XR my watch will no longer receive messages. It receives everything else, phone calls, app notifications, just not messages. Why?

Same issue here.......Ionic, iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 13. 

 

Other notifications are working but not iMessage. 

 

Tried removing and reinstalling the app, removing and adding again via Bluetooth, etc. with no success!!!!!!
