Ionic not receiving text notifications

I have a new Ionic and it gives me notifications on phone calls but not messages which is very important to me.  I have checked phone and ionic and all show turned on.

A warm welcome to the Community @ssigler01. Thanks for checking the settings on your phone and Ionic. 

 

I would like you to confirm that the phone you're using is a supported device. If you have a supported device but you're still not receiving text notifications, please try force quitting the app, reset Bluetooth, restart your Ionic, refresh notifications and set them up again.
