Ionic not recording stats but GPS location

I ran 7.5 miles this morning.  Fitbit did not record my steps, distance, heart rate, pace, etc., but it recorded the time and GPS locations for the entire route.  It showed my distance as 0.03 miles, 1 floor elevation and 84 steps.  I have been having issues last week also when the Fitbit won't sync for 3 days until I removed and reconnected it.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared in your post, seems odd that your Ionic isn't tracking stats but it's recording the GPS locations. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know when was the first time you experienced this issue and how many times since then?Which mobile device are you using to sync your Ionic? To resolve this I suggest you to restart your device and let me know if the issue persists.
