Ionic not showing stats when exercising

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Out of nowhere yesterday, my Fitbit stopped showing the stats while I'm exercising. Now to be clear, it is tracking the stats. For example, when I go for a run, it does not tell me on the screen face anything about distance, heart rate, steps, etc. However, when I end the run, it shows me the stats and they seem to be accurate.

Upon further inspections, it looks like the stats have literally slid off the screen. I cannot see anything except for the time stat which is so far slid to the left that I can only see part of the seconds.

I have changed the faces to and from Fitbit defaults, I have shut down the device, nothing is working.

Hello @Joe8512 and a warm welcome.  The usual first troubleshooting step is to restart your Ionic.  It isn't written anywhere in any Fitbit help article, but some people advise restarting your device 2-3 times.

I recently had an episode where my Versa display went wacky when I swiped up for my Today stats.  The only thing that worked was to erase my Versa with a Factory Reset.

A restart does not lose unsynced data.  Sync your Ionic before a reset.  Unsynced data will be lost in a reset.
