I got my ionic and it will be fine and then it won't turn on. The screen is on but it's blank and I have the hardest time getting it back.

Try a reset by holding in the left and bottom right buttons simultaneously until it vibrates @Acstein

  1. Press and hold the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.
  3. If your Fitbit Blaze or Fitbit Ionic doesn't work normally, use the instructions in How do I turn off my Fitbit device? to turn your watch off and on again.

Better?

I've tried and I even talked to a fitbit agent and they couldn't help. I'm
really bummed bc I was really excited to get it and use it today

@Acstein The Ionic screen dims when not in use.

To wake it up:

  • Turn your wrist towards you
  • Tap the screen
  • Press any button

To learn how to navigate the Ionic's screen, check out this help article. Hope this helps.

Erick, the user is already trying hard restarts and has talked to fitbit support. Do you think he hasn't tried turning the watch towards him or pushing a button?
