This is getting pretty frustrating.
For what should be an high end device and price it has some pretty worse bluetooth connectivity.
Now again for days it won't connect to my phone nor the bluetooth of my laptop.
There is nothing wrong with my laptop and phone since they can connect perfectly with other devices.
So the problem is with the Ionic itself. I miss an option on the ionic to start pairing with a device like I had on my Garmin.
I restarted my Ionic a few times, removed it from known bluetooth devices on my phone and laptop.
Tried adding it again as a new device, but no, the Ionic is not traceable.
I did some long walks and runs the past days and I need to sync my data urgently since I'm in some challenges.
Previous time I had this problem I had to reset my Ionic.
But again, this is not acceptable to reset your Ionic and loose all that data.
Fitbit, get this fixed please!
Any suggestions in the mean time ?

Ok it works after
- Shutting off all bluetooth devices in the house
- Resetting and reinstalling everything and in the process loosing all my data of the past days
- Only activate bluetooth on my phone
- Reconnect again
Possibly it could have worked disabling all bluetooth of other devices first.
You might want to try with that first

Eventually I resetted my Ionic but even then it is not found by several devices.
And trust me I'm not a tech newbie, I restarted everything, made sure that no 2 bluetooth devices where on the same time.
So I arrived at a point to turn in my Ionic for a replacement.

I think I have found the reason
Apparently it was connected to a third device, my Ipad which had bluetooth enabled.
Although I don't recall connecting my Ionic to my Ipad.
After shutting down the Ipad my ionic is getting found again by my phone.
But it is still in the processing of connecting and seems to be hanging.

I just bought my Ionic 1 week ago and I’m very disappointed it won’t sync one minute it works next. It don’t this sucks I’m taking my back today I go to gym a lot and can’t track nothing correctly I don’t know if I’m just getting my money back or swapping for another, just want to say how disappointed I am with this product
