Ionic not syncing since update to 72.1.9

I can not get my ionic to sync since this last update. I am a nurse and rely on my watch for everything at work and really need it to be accurate. Right now my time is off and it's unacceptable. It will not sync and I'm about to switch to Samsung

Well not really they offered me a $35 off coupon for a new fitbit...I
bought a samsung watch 3 instead.

My stopped syncing at 3:18 today, while the watch battery was recharging...

I got mine corrected ... went to settings, and pressed Shutdown,.. now it is synching!

The update screwed up alot of the Ionic watches. I reached out for help and
they told me my warranty was void and they would give me $35 off my next
watch.... this is my second ionic watch in a year and 4th fitbit in 4
years. All.stopped working after updates. Idk why they can't fix this. My
fix was to switch to a samsung watch 3 and I LOVE IT! Sorry about your
watch but they don't see a fix so maybe it's time for a change!

I understand and the fitbit team did everything in their power they were
great... their is just no fixing the ongoing problems with updates ruining
watches.
