Ionic not syncing with Strava

My Ionic has suddenly stopped syncing with Strava today.  Anyone else had issues?  Everything was fine yesterday.  I also noticed today that I can’t see any Strava logged activities on my ionic (in the Ionic’s Strava App) any later than July??

Fitbit are looking into the issues with Strava syncing. Keep an eye on the following thread where they are posting updates:

Hello and welcome @Kelbram.  I'm guessing you are doing the same activities (as before that aren't being picked up now), but before I can offer some suggestions, please reply back or PM me with the type of activities that Strava is posting (Walk, Run, Hike, etc...).

Thanks and Keep on STEPPING!

Hey! Must have just been a glitch, as it’s just synced a 10k run with no problems.

Thanks for replying. I think the issue has resolved itself 🙂

I'm having the same issue...it's not synching.  I've upgraded the fitbit app and I've disconnected and reconnected strava to fitbit.  So what should I do.  I have an Ionic.

All of my runs (which is usually the same route on the same day of the week)

and my bike rides...

I found it to be a one day blip. It hasn’t put a step wrong since and I managed the upload the missing activity to Strava by exporting the TCX file from the Fitbit activity detail on my PC.

I ended up doing the same to my exercises (uploading manually), but it is kind of annoying... All my exercises have not uploaded automatically since August 30th... Not a one day deal...

Hi everyone!  Our team has some mitigating fixes and syncing should be back to normal now. Can you please let me know if this is working for you? Woman Very Happy

Note that this is not a retroactive fix, so old activities may not sync to Strava.

Thanks again for your reports and patience. Let me know if there's anything else I may assist you with!

Hey there @Peteck18 and @Booster216, thanks for stopping by! If you're having problems with info syncing from/to Strava, you could try to remove and add Strava back to Fitbit. For this, you can go to your online dashboard and then click on the gear icon at the top right corner.

From here, look for the Applications section on the column that is on the left side. Here, look for Strava, click on the Remove Access button and then go to Strava to link Fitbit again.

If the issue persists, I'd like to recommend that you get in touch with Strava's support team. Given that this connections are developed by the third parties, they should be able to see what is going on and  help you get it resolved.

Having said that, you could export the activities you want to have on Strava and manually upload them that way.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
