This is the second fitbit I've owned. I have had the Ionic for less than a year. I come home, plug the watch in to charge, lay my phone 2" from the watch, and try and sync that days steps. It won't sync, and it does not credit my days, dropping out Monday and Tuesday. This is the second time in 3 months that the watch stops syncing with the app on the phone. I've changed nothing, not my routine, not anything else. It never was able to upload music, no matter what I tried.
It's making me furious. I have committed to myself to pursue my fitness, and am adamant about my steps, and my weight. I use the Aria scale every morning.
The **ahem**ed watch let me down again. I've stopped wearing it. It's undermining my entire fitness track.
Nice try, Fitbit, but you are a FAIL

Welcome to the community!
Are you trying to get the syncing issues resolved or have you already decided to leave the platform?
If the latter, I'm a bit shocked that you had the initiative to find the forums to post a 'goodbye' and vent... yet you have not made a post on trying to resolve your sync issues (second time in 3 months?).
Please respond if you'd like to try to resolve your sync issues (and list what you have tried).

Every product has issues. Since you are presumably an Apple user, I'll just point out some in this space:
Were these issues that you were willing to tolerate? ...but (to quote you) there shouldn't be any issues. You don't have time to waste on technical problems, right?
Face Id should run as advertised... Apple Maps should run as advertised... iPhone 4 should run as advertised...
Are these all not faulty products? Is there a reason to stay with iPhone?
I'm not saying Fitbit products are perfect. All that I'm pointing out is that with any product, you'll need to tolerate some issues... Apple products (who you're presumably leaving for) are no exceptions.
Maybe you have a higher tolerance for pain with Apple products (like suddenly having less than half of the Ionic's battery life)… Maybe it's a brand who you are willing to trust more...
Again, if you'd like to try to resolve your sync issue, please respond with what you've tried.

I plug my phone in every night.
I don’t care about Face ID
Who care about Australia’s ‘deadly map problem’ lol
I guess you have no real answers to what I said regarding the Fitbit
You can keep your toy
Best, Alex

There are many ways to resolve the sync issues.
On each one of my responses, I've asked you what you have tried so that I may be able to rule those out... and yet you have not responded with any details.
I can't (to use your words) give you real answers unless you're willing to give me some information. I could just suggest many different possibilities, which would waste your time and mine going back and forth on this thread... So why not just post what you have tried so that I may make other suggestions?
