My wife 'upgraded' me to a Fitbit Ionic in December, and I have had nothing but trouble with it. I'm sitting here right now with my watch right next to my phone and it won't sync (which is typical). I have done all updates provided and it's still the same problem and has been for months. Sunday's 12 mile run? Zero steps recorded. Yesterday's activities of over 5 miles? Doesn't exist. But Monday is there, so it just is as intermittent as always. Save yourself the headache and purchase something else. I'd be happier with my Charge 2 again, but I don't think I'll ever want to own another Fitbit at this point.

Hi there,
I did view the article a couple of months ago and followed all the advice. I disconnected Ionic from my phone then reconnected and I'm still having the same issues.
