Ionic not tracking anything

Hi,

So I have a fitbit Ionic. It is just under 2 years old.

The other month it was working perfectly fine then all of a sudden it started acting up.

It began to track my steps but even when I wasn't moving and even when I wan't wearing it. It got up to something like 23,000 steps. At this point it had also stopped tracking my heart rate.

I tried restarting it and that didn't make a difference so i just left it until the battery ran out.

I then charged and when it turned back on it won't recognise heart rate or steps! 

I've tried restarting, deleting the whole app etc, making sure the app and my iphone are up to date but still nothing. 

I have the display set up so that it turns on automatically but even that doesn't work, I have to press the side button to see the display on the screen.

HELP!! This is soo frustrating....i've literally tried everything!! 

The little light at the back still lights up though
