Ionic not tracking heart rate

Hi there please help! 
My Fitbit ionic was working fine then all of a sudden I noticed the heart rate And sleep score stopped registering. This also affects the calories burned figure when working out. All the firmware is up to date and the app has been updated. 

i have disconnected it via Bluetooth, reset (soft), reset to factory settings, reinstalled the app and repaired it. The heart rate data features are switched to on but Nothing seems to work. The green light in the back appears to be working fine but not registering any heart rate information. I am totally out of ideas please help as this is really frustrating.

Yes I did contact customer services, I explained the situation that after I installed new firmware all the problems started. We went through all the script to try resetting the watch unsuccessfully. I was offered a 20% discount for a new watch. A watch that I would not have needed had it not been for the update which I did not even want!! I am 1 very disappointed Fitbit ( now faulty) owner
