Ionic not tracking steps

After the last update, my ionic is not tracking steps or syncing any data. To my phone. The clock is working but not tracking anything steps heartrate nothing! I have reset by deleting from my phone and linking it back and its not working. About two months ago it wouldn't charge and I waited a bout I week and it charged again. This is very disturbing as this watch is expensive and I depend on it for daily use. Please advise

Yes they were unable to assist and only wanted to offer me a coupon for 35percent off only a fitbit versa too when I had a fitbit ionic. I dont agree with the results but im an avid wearer of fitbot so I have purchased with no discount the versa 3. Thank you

It looks same as my case, do you think the sensor is dead ?

No. I think it was a problem with an update. My ionic is less than 6 months old.
It started working again after midnight!

Same problem, my ionic counts steps intermittently, some days not at all.  Tried switching watch faces and powering down no luck.

I'm seeing the same issues. It worked fine before the update and now it's not counting steps for the last few days
