I’ve read several times about the new os update not allowing text vibrations with notifications. I’ve done everything short of a factory reset and I’m still not getting a vibration when I get a text. SUPER frustrated. I have an iPhone 8 Plus. I can see the text if I swipe down on my watch but I don’t know anything is there unless I check. No vibrations. Checked that all notifications are on. Turned them all off then back on. Restarted Bluetooth. Rebooted Fitbit and phone. What more am I supposed to do?
Also- can I get the old layout for the Fitbit app where everything is seen in the same screen without toggling down? This new layout is unappealing- honestly, I don’t open the app anymore because of the new layout. I wish it would have shown me a preview of the new layout before I “updated” it and didn’t have the option of switching back.

@Jaimeed2010 Welcome to the Community. Thanks for the details mentioned and the troubleshooting tried.
I appreciate the research done prior to posting. In this case, I would like you to confirm you've checked that your notifications are set to "on" in the power tray:
If you have tried it but it's still not working, let me share with you that we’re aware of it and are working to identify a resolution as quickly as possible. We're sorry for any trouble. We appreciate your patience and look forward to getting you back on track.
Regarding your question about changing the layout, it's not possible to revert back to the previous firmware update. If you would like to change this layout, you may want to post it in our Feature Suggestion board, those ideas are reviewed by our team and the status will change based in Fitbit's plans.
I'll be around if you have any additional questions.
