A few days ago I updated my Fitbit ionic. I noticed the watch was loosing time and the app failed to sync, and the pairing failed.
Since then I've tried everything, restarted the ionic and phone umpteen times, factory reset the Fitbit, uninstalled and installed the app, deleted all blue tooth connections etc. and it still wont pair.
Only a couple of years old, and a few hundred £££££s down the drain.
Not fit for imo, does anyone have a solution?

Yeah, their latest firmware also killed battery life on mine. It is good bye Ionic for me too.
I happen to have a Charge sitting un used, so I'm going to use it until it dies. Then it's off to other better supported fitness tracker brands!

Why the heck would Fitbit charge so much money for a product yet have no fix for the problems their investors are having? Would it stand to reason that they would want to KEEP their business? I mean, we have all spent good money on their product, many of us have bought different models. This means weve enjoyed the product. Now, all I hear is unhappy people, including myself on the upgrade that killed our products. So, either they cant figure out how to fix it and keep us happy investors or they don't care because someone else will spend money on their products. I myself have had 4 different products. Now, my ionic is basically a watch. Very disappointed.
Enjoy your day!

I'm right there with you. So many features that Fitbit offers are now non-existent. Dont waste your money. Looking at a Galaxy S3 right now. Anything has GOT to be better.
Enjoy your day!

Same here. It is not working correctly in the past two weeks. The time is one hour behind the present one, synchronization not working too. I am very disappointed.

Fitbit has been a huge disappointment and Ive been using the products for the last 8 to 9 years. Spending more on a "better" product means getting something that is better than the rest before it. I tried 3 different Ionics and I have to say that spending so much time to try and get this thing to work was so frustrating. And to hear that so many people are experiencing the same thing is ridiculous!!! Reset the phone, turn off bluetooth, restart the watch. All of this BS is completely why people are turning from Fitbit. After years of trying I finally decided to sell EVERYTHING I had for this Ionic (and I had a lot) for pennies and bought a Samsung Galaxy Active 2 watch. This is so much better than the juvenile solutions to a never ending problem with Fitbit. Either your programmers become more proactive in your pathetic attempt to be empathetic to these issues and offer absolutely no help

I did the same thing. Much happier with the Samsung Galaxy products. They actually get it.
