Haven’t received text notifications on it for a while. Tried turning it on and off, checked my setting with the phone to make sure they were correct, checked my setting with the Fitbit to make sure they were correct, tried toggling them off and back on again. Today I removed device and went through the set up device again. All of this has not work so I tried a reset, now the watch is stuck flashing the logo and won’t stop. Holding side buttons does nothing to cure this. The watch is older but I’m kinda upset because it no longer works after a reset, would rather have a working watch with no notifications than this now paper weight.

Keep it on a charger and press all 3 buttons. If the Fitbit logo appears and is animated but not blinking, immediately release the bottom right button. Keep the other two buttons in until the Ionic vibrates. Then release.
Other option is to remove the ionic from the charger and let the battery drain for the next day or 4. Connect to a charger and do the 3 button reset as above, after allowing the battery to get a bit of charge in it. Keep it on the charger until fully charged.

Tried your first method of getting my watch working again and nothing. Thank you for the reply and trying to help. Will let the battery drain to zero and give it a go then. If that doesn’t work then what ?

I had the same issue with my Ionic after an update. I removed it from my account, put it on the charger then had my phone search for the Ionic again. It found it and kicked it out of the boot loop. I don't know if it'll work for you, but I thought I'd throw it out there if you want to give it a try.
