Does anyone know how to fix this problem? My notification screen is constantly buzzing and showing on my screen. It won’t go back to the home screen unless I manually do it.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Cheritx1! Sorry to hear that your Ionic buzzes constantly with screen wake notifications. Please verify the screen settings on your Fitbit Account. How do I navigate my Fitbit device's screen?
In the meantime, also please perform a restart: How do I restart my Fitbit device?
Give this a go and let me know if the issue persists!

This is my husband’s watch that I bought him for Christmas. He has restarted it a few times and still kept doing it. This time he tried to restart it and now it will not come on at all.

Now it will not stay on. It goes directly to the start up screen and freezes. Nothing is working.

Sorry to hear that the inconvenience with the screen is persisting. Thanks for trying my suggestions and recommendations.
I was about to create a support case on your behalf, but since you're speaking on your husband's behalf I wasn't able to do so as the creation requires the email address of the Fitbit's owner. Therefore, I'd recommend getting in touch with our Support Team directly or you can reach me out via PM to provide me with your husband's email address and I'll be more than glad to create the case for you guys.
Have a nice day!

This is also happening to my Ionic. I’ve attempted restarting with no luck. Seemed to coincide with the last SU that I took.

Same issue. Support will just tell you to clean the buttons with a toothpick and compressed air. Total waste of time.

Mine keeps doing this as well. It's really irritating because it buzzes on your wrist every time it does this, sometimes as many as 15 or 20 times a minute.

Does anyone have a fix for this issue yet? Mine only started doing it a couple of days ago, tried restarting but made no difference.

Thanks for stopping by guys! I'm sorry to hear that despite all your efforts this inconvenience persist.
As @EmmySturch suggested, I think a factory reset could help. Be aware that the factory reset erase apps and all personal data from the device, including credit or debit cards you added.
To do so, please follow this steps: On your watch, open the Settings app () > About > Factory Reset.
Thanks for troubleshooting this issue with us. See you around!

I am having the same issue. I did a hard reset and re-installed the device on my app. I'm wondering if using a certain clock face brings on this issue? Currently I am using a beach background as the clock face.

I thought it might be the clockface as well so I went back to the factory default face but that didn't help. I think the fix for me is going to involve switching to Garmin. I'm just about ready to trash my Ionic.

Compressed air and factory reset did not work for me.

Mine is doing the same thing as well. I called Fitbit and told them what was happening and they are replacing the unit. I'm not sure about the troubleshooting steps you have all been put through though. This is my 2nd replacement as my initial unit failed to read my heart rate consistently after 6 months.
Briefly my watches symptoms are/were. Came in mail, charged, would not turn on immediately, took 5 minutes of button pressing. Sometimes button press works, other time is does not. Sometimes it results in a contest of wills between me and it as it will repeatedly go to the Notification Setup screen after I press the main button to return it to the Main Screen. Sometimes it goes to the Notification Setup screen all by itself. Hope this helps someone!
