Does anyone know how to fix this problem? My notification screen is constantly buzzing and showing on my screen. It won’t go back to the home screen unless I manually do it.

I just called Fitbit. Customer service was great. My watch is still under warranty so they are sending a replacement. If you do the compressed air and the factory reset and it doesn't help then you really should just call them and they send you a link to get a replacement watch free of charge. Start to finish it took about 20 minutes and the new unit is on the way.

Welcome on board @erinlab1505! Thanks for troubleshooting this inconvenience. Nice way to go! While reading your post I was wondering if by hard reset you meant Factory Reset? If you did the normal restart (click here to see the steps) I'd recommend doing the Factory Reset by opening the Settings app on your Ionic > About > Factory Reset. Let me know how it goes!
Hi there @Timmy1192! I'm glad to hear that the Factory Reset worked for you! Let me know if you need further assistance!
Thanks for jumping in here guys @Rob2018, @Dzavala4, @DanHIonic! I'm happy to hear that you all are receiving a replacement tracker after getting in touch with our Support Team. I really appreciate your efforts while troubleshooting this inconvenience with your Ionic.
If there are any questions present, let me know. I'll be around!
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...

I had this same issue. I tried your suggestion of turning off unit (rest) but now my Ionic will not turn on at all! It is basically dead.

I am having the same issue, the notifications screen keeps popping up, happening several times a minute. I tried restarting several time, cleaned buttons and completed a factory reset last night. None of this has helped as the issue continues. Has anyone had any success other than getting watch replaced? This seems like an odd glitch for a relatively high priced watch.

I got mine to stop by disabling notifications on the watch

Has anyone found a better answer to this situation yet? I had to leave a meeting at work and remove my ionic today because it went completely haywire buzzing almost continuously for 10 minutes. Since getting home from work I’ve factory reset, changed clock faces, blown compressed air around the button, turned notifications off, turned vibrate off and everything else I’ve read in these replies and it’s still doing it!

I contacted fitbit by phone and they are replacing my ionic even though it's almost 2 years old. Excellent customer service!
