Ionic screen goes on when I move - set for "manual" (button pushed). This causes battery to run down in 2 days instead of 7+. What can I do?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @EverettThomas. I'm sorry to hear that your Ionic's battery drains fast and I'm glad to hear that you got a Sense 2 as a replacement.
As @LZeeW, mentioned, currently there is a Voluntary Safety Recall of Fitbit Ionic Smartwatches and won't be more updates. For more information, please visit our web page at help.fitbit.com/ionic.
Thank you for your advise @Ryanrothrock, @Olivialawrence.

Best AnswerHello @EverettThomas and welcome to the Community. Fitbit recalled the Ionic because of battery issues. You are entitled to a full refund. Please follow the instructions to get your refund. The recall was announced in March 2022. I expect the Ionic will get decommissioned in the next two months. Fitbit recalled a different device (Force) several years ago. It was decommissioned about a year after its recall.

The magnet in Ionic isn't strong enough to hold the cable still. If you put the watch on the flat surface while charging, there is a big chance, the plug will disconnect which happened to me few times and while thinking the watch was charging, it wasn't in fact as the plug wasn't fully connected. With Charge 2 the cables also weren't free from problems. H‑E‑B Partner Login
Go to your Ionic's settings and disable "Quick View" if it's enabled. This feature automatically turns on the screen when you lift your wrist, but it may be sensitive to movement, causing unnecessary activations.
